Water Treatment Plant
Project Location: Glencoe, Minnesota

Many neighborhoods need a water treatment plant to clean and prepare water for the families that live there. Think of how often you use water, both to drink and cook, and to do other chores. Imagine doing all of these things without pure, healthy water. Though we need water treatment plants, they certainly are not very pretty. One way to put a water treatment plant into a neighborhood is to build a nice-looking, but fake house around the facility. You never know! You might have a hidden water treatment plant on your street!

The design expansion of the Glencoe water treatment plant resulted in a 100% increase in plant capacity and allowed for the compatible expansion of an existing 1890’s building.
