Information on the 35-W Bridge Collapse

Tom Lorentz, P.E.
Section President

Our section, founded in 1914, encompasses the State of Minnesota except for eleven counties located in the northeast corner of the state. These counties are part of the Duluth Section. The Minnesota Section averages about 1,500 members annually, of which over 800 pay local dues to support the section. Our year begins with our construction tour in September and ends in May.

In total we have nine meetings each year, many of which are held jointly with other engineering organizations. Our members also keep busy participating in the 12 committees supported by our section. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website. Please feel free to contact any of your officers or committee chairs.
