Many times during the year, the ASCE Minnesota Section Secretary will receive requests for changes of address from ASCE Minnesota Section members. The procedure for updating all membership information, including contact address for both ASCE/National and the ASCE Minnesota Section (including receipt of the newsletter), is by contacting ASCE/National.

To join ASCE or update your current information, follow this link:

There are other ways of contacting ASCE/National to change your membership information: call ASCE at 1-800-548-2723 and change the information directly over the telephone; fax them the changes at 1-703-295-6333; or e-mail the changes to memrec@asce.org.

If you use the web page, you will be required to resubmit several items of information that may not have changed. Therefore, the web page is best used for major changes to your status. Make sure you include your membership number in all contacts with ASCE/National.

The ASCE Minnesota Section address database is updated and received each month from ASCE/National. That list includes any changes that have been submitted to National. This list is sent to each section around the 15th of the month. Since the ASCE Minnesota Section newsletter is usually mailed soon after the first of the month, it is likely that all changes will be incorporated into the mailing of the newsletter in the month after a change is submitted to ASCE/National.

If you have any questions about updating your ASCE/National membership status, feel free to contact the ASCE Minnesota Section Secretary or Vice President for Information Services.

Did you know that when asked why they hadn’t joined ASCE yet, most non-members replied, "Because I was never asked"? Let’s help our colleagues become members of ASCE! Please use ASCE National’s member recruitment website to help us enroll new members during 2009. Follow this link to ASCE’s membership recruitment page:
